I’m Neeraj Kumar - though you might know me as @DrunkTrader in some corners of the internet.

I like building things and understanding what happens underneath the abstractions. My interests are mostly around backend engineering, systems, infrastructure, networking, and distributed systems.

I spend a lot of time working with C++, Python, and Linux, building projects, contributing to open source, and occasionally breaking things just to understand why they broke.

I like to tinker with monitoring, networking, automation, and systems that make me ask “how does this actually work?”

When I’m away from the terminal, I’m probably playing volleyball, on a road trip, experimenting in the kitchen, or fragging out in CS2 or Valorant with friends. I also have a soft spot for music, and I’ve put some of my favorites into a Spotify playlist.
